Stacey attended University of Pennsylvania, studying International Relations, but she had no idea what she wanted to do in the future. Her parents wanted her to attend a law school, but she didn’t. She had always loved the creative part of making stuff, be it a piece of decoration or a website.

It is not a secret that Stacey loved pants, all types of them – from straight fit and skinny to wide legged. One day, while thinking about a future business, a great idea came to her. She decided to design her own unique pants. And that’s how, in 2002 at Barneys NY, Alice + Olivia was born. In the beginning everybody wanted Stacey’s perfect pants. They were a smash hit, a great success.

In the next year Stacey added a cashmere sweater collection to the products, the company offered. And in the following year the diversity of clothes became much bigger, when she launched a menswear line, called Anthony + Mo, and the today well-known swimwear line.

In the course of the next years Stacey’s business was expanded with a great speed – Alice + Olivia began to offer seasonal collections in popular retail stores all around the globe, opened the first boutique in Los Angeles and even created an unique line of super posh and chic shoes.

Today many celebrities, such as Angelina Jolie and Taylor Swift, wear Alice + Olivia’s clothes.
